Biography
Brian Williams studied graphic design in the Collage of Art and Design Mountjoy Square in Dublin. Brian majored in design for print, film and television.
After graduating Brian worked for Works Associates design consultants where he picked up four international awards for his design work for the band U2 on projects ranging from the ZOO TV Tour to the ZOOROPA album cover.
Brian then joined new design company called Dynamo as partner and creative director. During that time Brian set up a separate television section within Dynamo specialising in motion graphics, live action commercials and television brand identity. He won seven print awards, six animation awards and four awards for live action directing, the most recent a gold ICAD [Institute for Creative Advertising and Design].
As film became his main focus Brian went solo to concentrate on directing commercials and film full time, he started operating under the banner of SUPER 68 creating motion graphics / CGi and Brian Williams directing award winning live action commercials. Over the past 8 years Brian has won multiple awards for directing domestically and internationally.
Nowadays, he is represented all around the world as a live action director and has moved to London. He likes to organise things neatly and will even pack your suitcase in ways you never thought possible.
